National Day of the Teacher

May 9, 2017

Teachers give us so much. A boost of confidence when we really need one. Extra help when we’re having trouble. A welcoming presence when everything else seems out of control. And though we know we can’t ever thank them enough, we can take a moment during National Teacher Appreciation Week to share our appreciation for the special educators in our lives.

Join the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools and the Districts of Tuolumne county as we recognize Tuesday, May 9, 2017 as the Day of the Teacher.

National School Nurse Day

May 10, 2017

On the 10th day of May in the year 2017, we will celebrate National School Nurse Day — a day we designate to celebrate school nurses, the “boots on the ground” in our schools, working to improve the health and learning of students. School nurses are heroes to the more than 50 million children in our nation’s schools, and it is highly likely that more people interact with a school nurse than any other nursing specialist.

Join the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools and the Districts of Tuolumne county as we recognize Wednesday, May 10, 2017 as National School Nurses Day.
