DESCRIPTION:This two-hour\, hands-on workshop guides participants through understanding the credentialing-related indicators on the California School Dashboard — and\, just as importantly\, how those indicators connect to source data in CALPADS and CalSAAS. \nWe will unpack what the Dashboard is actually measuring\, how misassignments are triggered\, and where districts can verify or correct data before it becomes a compliance concern. Participants will learn how these systems interact\, identify the most important reports\, and troubleshoot discrepancies with clarity and confidence. \nThis is an interactive session; please bring a laptop so you can explore your own CALPADS and CalSAAS data in real time. \nLunch will be provided. \nBy the end of the workshop\, participants will understand how to monitor credentialing accuracy year-round\, prevent misassignments\, and maintain a clean Dashboard without the annual scramble.
