Dear TCSOS Families,
We are experiencing an incredible surge of COVID-positive cases in our school system. We are trying to maintain services and programs in a safe environment. You can help by ensuring that your child stays home if exhibiting symptoms related to COVID or is a close contact with someone who is COVID positive. We have attached the updated Flow Chart to explain how new quarantine guidelines work. Please remember that shortened quarantine is available if students test at regular intervals and consistency mask.
We have distributed all at-home tests, but testing options are available through TCSOS.
Contact Ellie Brewer (email@example.com) to set up an appointment.
- There is a PCR (sent to the state lab) test available. These tests are the same tests they do at the LHI fairgrounds location. https://home.color.com/covid/sign-up/start?partner=cdph034
- We also offer rapid antigen, which is like the tests you can buy at CVS, etc. https://my.primary.health/r/tuolumne?registration_type=TCSOS+Student
- There is no cost to you, and you do not have to answer all the questions asked in the registration links. This is completely optional.
As a reminder, three is no school on Monday. As we pause to celebrate the incredible life of Martin Luther King, Jr. this Monday, I am inspired by his words from the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance speech, “I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” To learn about Martin Luther King, Jr., visit: https://www.history.com/topics/black-history/martin-luther-king-jr.
I hope you also take some time to rest and recharge this three-day holiday. Stay safe.
