A Series of Two Workshops based on the Physical Development and Health Domains of the Preschool Learning Foundations

Active Physical Play & Health

Physical activity and proper health and nutrition, infused throughout the preschool day, promotes children’s ability to attend, be ready to learn, and regulate their emotional responses. It is essential to the optimal development and overall health of young children.

Day 1 will focus on Active Physical Play and Day 2 will target Health with a focus on Nutrition

Discover how to use the Preschool Learning Foundations (PLF), and the Preschool Curriculum Framework (PCF) Vol. 2 to enrich learning and development opportunities in preschool and transitional kindergarten settings.

We’ll engage in hands-on activities and learn about research-based strategies that will enhance your early education setting. Participants will be able to make and take aids to use right away in their settings. You are not required to attend both workshops in the series.

These workshops are FREE, but we do ask you to preregister.
