Global Cardboard Challenge

October 10, 2015

What: An opportunity to participate in a global challenge that encourages students to create “something” using cardboard and other recycled and recyclable materials.  Creations could be games, concept vehicles, robots, or other interactive gadget, tool, or toy.  Unleashing their imaginations is what it’s all about.

Why:  The ultimate goal is to give students an opportunity to express their creativity while learning about the design and build process, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving.

When: Throughout September to October 4, 2014, and finalist presentations on Saturday, October 11, 2014.

Where: Local schools will host their own “Design and Build” days culminating with a presentation day at their school on or before October 4.  Each school will then submit two to three entries to be presented at the Innovation Lab in Sonora on Saturday, October 11.
