Tuolumne County Mock Trial

Virtual Competition January 19 and January 21, 2021

The third annual Tuolumne County Mock Trial competition was held via a virtual platform on January 19 and 21, 2021 at 6pm. Defense and Prosecution teams from Summerville High School and Tioga High School competed against De La Salle High School and Venture Academy, arguing the case, “People v. Croddy” in front of Tuolumne County Judges.

California Mock Trial is a program of the Constitutional Rights Foundation.

2019 Mock Trial Photo Gallery

The 2019 Mock Trial featured teams from Don Pedro High School and Summerville High School.  The competition was presided over by the Honorable Judge Powell Segerstrom and the Honorable Judge Seibert.

The 2020 Mock Trial featured teams from Sonora High School and Summerville High School. The competition was presided over by the Honorable Judge Donald Segerstrom and the Honorable Judge Kate Powell Segerstrom. Teams argued the case People v. Matsumoto.
The 2021 Mock Trial featured teams from Summerville High School and Tioga High School in Tuolumne County, competing against De La Salle High School from Concord and Venture Academy from Stockton. The competition was presided over by the Honorable Judge Segerstrom, Judge Powell Segerstrom, and Judge Krieg.
