Public bid opening scheduled for December 3, 2025.

The Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools (TCSOS) has opened the bidding process for the Retaining Wall Replacement Project at 175 Fairview Lane in Sonora. This project will remove the existing failing retaining wall and replace it with a new, engineered structure designed to improve long-term safety and site stability.

Contractors licensed in California with a valid Class A or Class B license are invited to review the project plans and submit sealed bids. All bids must be delivered to the TCSOS Business Services Office by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Bids will be opened publicly immediately afterward.

A mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk will be held onsite on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Contractors who do not attend the entire walk will not be eligible to submit a bid.

This project is being let under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). All bidders must be on the TCSOS list of approved contractors and comply with all prevailing wage, registration, and reporting requirements outlined in the bid documents.
