TCSOS operates a wide variety of opportunities and activities that focus on improving the quality of education in Tuolumne County in local school districts. The focus is on the classroom teacher and students to optimize and improve educational opportunities. Responsibilities to the districts include:

  • Provide curriculum consultant services to school districts
  • Coordinate professional development for certificated and classified staff members
  • Facilitate articulation and linkages among K-14 schools and districts
  • Support mechanisms for inter-agency and community-wide collaboration
  • Make connections to regional and statewide curriculum resources

TCSOS offers a variety of professional development opportunities for teachers, administrators, and other educators to expand their skills and support student achievement.

TRAILS

Engage in your personalized learning experience and select from hundreds of short, incremental, self-paced activities. Learning activities include productivity with Google Workspace for Education, classroom applications, PBIS, digital citizenship, instruction, etc.

Admin & Teacher Induction

Induction is required for both General Education and Education Specialist teachers to clear their preliminary credentials. Induction is the second tier within California’s Learning to Teach System. Induction is a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support, and professional learning that begins in the teacher’s first year of teaching.
