Early Childhood Education

The TCSOS Early Childhood Education division is dedicated to ensuring that parents, guardians, students, and teachers receive the necessary support to promote children’s early development and prepare them for kindergarten. We actively collaborate with various organizations and committees, including Supporting Early Education and Development (SEED), First 5 Tuolumne, the Tuolumne County Child Care Planning Council, and the Columbia College Child Development Advisory Committee. Together, we strive to provide comprehensive early childhood development programs that contribute to the overall well-being of young children.

Local

Partners

As part of our commitment to professional growth and inclusivity, we offer professional development opportunities and inclusion support services to our local partners. These partners include:

  • Infant/Child Enrichment Services (ICES): We collaborate with ICES to enhance the quality of early childhood education and support the healthy development of infants and young children in our community.
  • Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency (ATCAA) Early Head Start and Head Start: We work closely with ATCAA to provide early intervention services and inclusion support to staff.
  • Columbia College Child Care Centers: Our collaboration with the Columbia College Child Care Centers focuses on promoting high-quality early education programs and fostering a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
  • Belleview State Preschool: We collaborate with Belleview State Preschool in delivering early intervention and inclusion support that meets the developmental needs of children and prepares them for future academic success.

TCSOS aims to create a strong foundation for children’s educational journey through these partnerships and initiatives, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources during their crucial early years.
