Registration is now open for the Mad About Science Summer STEAM Program, taking place July 27–31 at Columbia College.
This engaging, hands-on program is open to Tuolumne County students entering grades 4–9 in the 2026–2027 school year and is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning through science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Throughout the week, students will participate in a variety of interactive experiences that encourage exploration, problem solving, and collaboration. From building and designing to testing ideas and thinking creatively, each day offers opportunities for students to engage in meaningful, real-world learning.
Participants can expect to:
- Explore hands-on STEAM activities
- Collaborate with peers on creative challenges
- Strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Connect learning to real-world applications
