On Thursday, October 15, 2026, millions of Californians will participate in the Great California ShakeOut, an annual earthquake drill designed to help individuals, schools, and communities prepare for earthquakes.
The Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools encourages students, educators, families, and community members to take part. Whether you’re in a classroom, office, or at home, practicing a few simple safety steps today can make a difference when an earthquake strikes.

- Review school and household emergency procedures.
- Strengthen preparedness throughout our community.
