Celebrating our staff, families, and community this Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approaches, we pause to reflect on the many reasons we are grateful. At the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, that gratitude begins with the people who make our mission possible every day—our educators, support staff, administrators, families, and community partners.

Superintendent Zack Abernathy shared his thanks with our team this week, emphasizing that it is the great people of TCSOS who make this such a meaningful place to work and serve. “I am thankful for the hard work that you do on a daily basis, and I hope you realize that it is the great people of TCSOS that make it such a wonderful place. There is nothing more rewarding than educators and families working together to make sure kids are loved and cared for.”

As we head into the holiday season, we wish everyone time to rest, reconnect, and create new memories with the people who matter most. Whether you are gathering around a table, enjoying the outdoors, or simply soaking up a quiet moment, we hope your days are filled with joy, warmth, and of course—excellent food.

Holiday Closures

All TCSOS programs will be closed for the entire week of Thanksgiving, as students across Tuolumne County are out of school for the full week.

TCSOS offices will be closed Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28.

Regular operations resume on Monday, December 1.

From all of us at TCSOS, thank you for the care, dedication, and heart you bring to the students and families of Tuolumne County. We are grateful—today and every day.
