The Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Tuolumne County Board of Education for Trustee Areas 1, 4, 6 and 7.
These appointments offer an opportunity for community members to serve in a leadership role supporting students, schools, and educational programs across Tuolumne County.
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a resident of the respective trustee area (Area 1, 4, 6, or 7)
- Be a registered voter
- Be at least 18 years of age
The application deadline is Friday, October 30, 2026 at 4:00 PM. Applications may be submitted via email to swellman@tcsos.us, or delivered to the TCSOS office at 175 Fairview Ln.
Candidates selected for consideration should be prepared to interview at the Board meeting on November 2, 2026 at 4:00 PM. Individuals appointed will take office on December 14, 2026.
