Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools (TCSOS) was informed that on February 3, 2026, Tuolumne District Attorney Cassandra Ann Jenecke issued a correction related to the January 30, 2026, announcement regarding the McGrew, Griffiths, and Quinn prosecution updates. This correction clarifies that “There’s no evidence suggesting that Superintendent Abernathy met with the paraprofessional witnesses on this matter,” and that “There is no evidence that Superintendent Abernathy or investigators from his Office instructed the paraprofessionals to not speak of the incident.” The correction announcement may be accessed here: https://www.tuolumnecounty.ca.gov/m/newsflash/Home/Detail/937.
