TCSOS is proud to join Tuolumne County Public Health and its community partners this October for Red Ribbon Week.
Red Ribbon Week
October 23-31, 2022
Programs and events at local elementary and high school campuses will promote choices that support physical and mental health for all students and families in Tuolumne County. TCSOS representatives from Project AWARE and Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) will discuss health and wellness strategies that discourage substance use.
Other community partners participating in events include the Center for a Nonviolent Community, the Blue Zones Project, the California Highway Patrol, the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, the Sonora Police Department, Mathiesen Clinic, and the YES Partnership.
This year’s Red Ribbon Week theme is Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free. The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also reminds us that we are all empowered to shape the communities around us through positivity, bravery, and strength.
