A strong family partnership is crucial to educational equity and student success. Research states that when schools effectively partner with families, students do better when student learning is connected between home and school. They go to school more often. Their behavior improves. They achieved more long-term success. Our priority is to support families in advocating for their children and ensure all families are valued and respected members of the TCSOS community.

Jameson is a cheerful student with bright eyes and a contagious smile. He has made great progress this year, working hard and moving steadily toward his goals. Jameson loves playing basketball and swinging on the playground, bringing energy and joy wherever he goes. His teacher, Mrs. Hubble, shares, “Jameson is a pleasure to have in the classroom.”

Faye is a valued member of her classroom community. She is outgoing, funny, kind, and empathetic toward others. Faye actively participates in daily lessons and consistently puts in the effort to succeed. Her positive attitude sets a strong example for her classmates. She’s known for making friends, helping others, and being a great performer.” said teacher Addison Stafford. “Her growth in preschool is supported by both our staff and her parents, Emily and Lucas, who are highly involved in her development.”

“Abi’s progress this year has been remarkable,” said her teacher, Kalie Gonzalez. “She has forged friendships and overcome academic obstacles with determination. Having her in class brings joy, and her future looks incredibly promising. Abi is a joy to have in class, consistently bringing positivity, curiosity, and enthusiasm to every lesson, and has become a beloved member of the class community.”

Littia is a positive role model and an excellent student at TLC High. She is social, outgoing, and kind. Littia is always willing to help other students inside and outside her educational setting. In the classroom, Littia is actively engaged in academics, provides meaningful input and insight during class discussions, and is involved in her education. “She is a joy to have in the classroom, and her positive attitude brings a smile to the faces of the staff and the students as soon as she enters the room.” says teacher Stephen Piech.
